Lees Hill Renewable Energy Park

Our Proposals

We are proposing to develop Lees Hill Renewable Energy Park, located in the Scottish Borders, approximately 5km west of Duns.

Our plans have evolved following our first public exhibition in October 2022 based on the feedback we received and the information gathered from our technical assessments.

We now anticipate that the project will consist of six turbines, alongside up to 60MW of solar panels and 60MW of battery storage.

We recently held further public events and the materials can be accessed here

We have refined our plans based on the feedback we received from the local community throughout our consultation process, alongside the result of the technical assessments.

This has informed our revised design of Lees Hill Renewable Energy Park which will be subject to further consultation ahead of an application submission.

We submitted a Scoping Report to the Scottish Government Energy Consents Unit (ECU) in July 2022. This described our draft proposal and invited the views of consultees on the scope of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
